I caught a super bad flu last week :( But good thing is, it forced me to stay at home and since I had so much time to kill.. I also had time to be creative and write new songs! I was in such a state of discomfort that I wanted to write something utterly happy and cheerful.. so voila.. here's 'Your Love'. has released her first movie, or rather a 17-episode web mini-series called "Breathing Underwater". At first, Digby wanted the movie to be called "Feel" but Breathing underwater is confirmed. The movie is released on the 1st of July 2010 at ABCMusicLounge.com.

About the movie
The movie centers around how Digby came across writing the songs in Breathing Underwater, her second album, and the making of it. The movie stars herself, some of her friends (namely Kristin and JT) and professional actors. The movie was made possible by Hollywood Records and StoryMusicStory.

"Say It Again" is the 1st single of her debut album Unfold. "Say It Again" was released to radio on January 18, 2008, & for download via the iTunes on February 19, 2008. "Say It Again" (Marie Digby) song was promoted by its appearance on television series Smallville and by the creation of 3 music videos.

The 1st video was filmed by Marie Digby's sisters and a friend. It features her singing and playing the guitar on Venice Beach. The video was first released via Digby's YouTube channel on June 22, 2007, but not made public until Jan 25, 2008.

The 2nd video, released only in some parts of Asia, featured Marie Digby performing the song acoustically in Capitol Studio.

The 3rd and official video premiered on Marie Digby's YouTube channel on May 22, 2008. It shows her in what is presumably a movie studio, with different backdrops and props appearing behind her while she sings, plays her guitar and plays the piano. In the video's description, Digby states:

Released in Japan on June 24, 2009 and 'll be released on September 7, 2009 on Amazon and on September 15, 2009 in the US. 1st single is "Avalanche", released in US on iTunes on April 28, 2009. 2nd single is "Symphony", released in US on iTunes on June 2, 2009.

A music video for "Feel" is being aired in Japan and was released by Hollywood Records Japanese distributer, Avex Trax.

On April 8, 2009, "Breathing Underwater" was leaked onto the internet, months prior to the new September release date. On April 9, 2009, she responded on Marie Digby's MySpace

"Yesterday, my album advance was sent only to the folks at my record label, radio DJ's and music supervisors. It is just inevitable that one of those people are going to try and make a buck or put up the music just for their own personal satisfaction. [...] If you can't afford 8 dollars for an album, then you can always support your favorite artists by even just purchasing a song or two! If an artist I love had made a new album and it was on the internet, I would probably want it too !! But I would undoubtedly go and buy the album with pride on the date of release as well.. but that's just me :)"

Marie Digby-Unfold album is the debut solo album by singer/songwriter Marié Digby. Marie Digby-Unfold album features the singles "Umbrella" (a cover of the Rihanna hit), "Say It Again" and "Stupid for You", and was released on April 8, 2008 in the United States via Hollywood Records. The album debuted at #29 on the Billboard 200 with 18,000 copies sold in its first week.

Marie Digby started the recording process in early 2006. "Marie Digby" worked with important producers, Dave Bassett (Idina Menzel), Mike Daly (Kid Rock), and Tom Rothrock (James Blunt).

Marie Digby rode the internet video channel to a hit iTunes single, a Gap ad, and a song on Smallville. It is just inevitable that one of those people are going to try and make a buck or put up the music just for their own personal satisfaction. It's sad but it's just a part of life. But the truth is, I love this album so much. I am so proud of it and I am almost excited that now people who really want to, can listen to all the hard work that I've done over the last few months. If you feel the need to buy the album (Breathing Underwater) off of ebay or to download the whole thing for free just remember one thing please. I live and breathe music. It is all that I do in life and all that I want to do for the rest of my life. Please know that the one way you can help me continue doing it is by supporting my album.
